Crushing blow~by George Okyere

Crushing blow

Crushing blow
No more flow
I walk down this road
All alone
You were here moments ago
You said you loved me more than gold
You said you’ll walk me through all holes
You said my heart you’d forever own
But your words were simple boasts
Your words were lies in heavy loads
For at the sight of clouds and haze of smoke
You left my side without a tone of hope
You walked out the ropes that bound us both
You walked out as if you never promised to protect I to the bone
Your promises of no hope
Your love was just boasts
You run off like a haunted ghost
Leaving me all alone
I thought you said till the end of the road
