MEMOIR~by Indira Sadanandan

In the dark silence of my mind
I built a mansion
With all the characters
I learned from the language
There we lived together
Bathed in the light of love
Dawn broke with jasmine smell
Dusk closed in with the
Brilliance of the day.
Each room with the song
Of my poem for you
But a warble of destiny
Hung all over there.
