THE SEASON CHANGES~by Rajendra Padhi

The season changes saddening the wind
The tree without leaves sigh for something new,
Spring departs leaving its reflection in autumn
Instantly summer peeps with blazing sun.
Forgetting it wisest I thought as a sport of time
Even the graves have been lost in graveyard
The mourners of the past lost their names.

The silenced lips of time adopts new songs
So also the birds have new tunes in the bower,
Its power we hardly thought veiled for eyes
The smell of sinking twilight of dying things
Forgotten at night in sleep for a brighter morn.

I arrive as a traveler in a new boat in the river
I learn to cross sailing on tides for new lands,
Attune me in quest of worth in every change
Arrived something as mine as treasure of soul
Eternally perfect darkness to search for light.

I lost my tears searching out the ways of smile
The thirsty earth in wonder of joys for rain,
I look me as fresh grass in fragrance after winter
I do change with changes in me I am awake
Wearing the time incarnate to find my dreams.
