Write You a Love Poem~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Write You a Love Poem

How shall I write you a love poem
When stars are still there in heaven
The sky won’t allow them taken
Be used as words to you spoken

How shall I write you a love poem
When the clouds cover the full moon
And won’t offer me Cupid’s boon
Arrows that can shoot hearts to swoon

How shall I write you a love poem
When the sun keeps rising and shine
And will not let me write a line
With its warmth that will make you mine

How shall I write you a love poem
When the mountains still stand proud tall
And won’t let me make lover’s call
That will make YES from your lips fall

How shall I write you a love poem
When the chambers of my heart rage
With passions over your image
What words can pay you apt homage

When stars are still there in heaven
When clouds cover the full moon
When the sun keeps rising and shine
When the mountains still stand proud tall

How shall I write you a love poem
When the chambers of my heart rage?

Inspired by Penpen Bugtong Takipsilim’s poem ‘Write to me a love poem ‘.
