“In a Kiss” ~by Gohar Hanook

“In a Kiss”

The radiant heights
From where we fall
Into the latitudes of a grape.

A mercury kiss brings us back
To a mysterious home.

Under the shades of grape tree
Our tongues measure a song
That is dark like a night
Roving in the land of sun.

So like explorers of crescent circles,
In invisible destinations!
Oh love, you and I
Find the labyrinth of a drop
To manufacture a universe.

In the swirling rings of kiss
We are like two surging waves
Heading to the bright margins of the ocean
Where the house of stone is built
And in our fresh splashing
Through water
We continue to live
Our ever continuing forms.

Hanook Gohar.
