IN THE GARDEN OF MY PASSION~by Dipankar Sadhukhan

IN THE GARDEN OF MY PASSION

Like a traveller
Tired by walking
Over the day,
When my thought cries
To have rest,
You come to me
With sweet fragrance
And caress my heart.

When my lips get dried
Speaking soundless words
With none for hours
And I feel absurd,
You come to fill my lips
With nectar
And make me pregnant
With mature thought.

With the burden
Of loneliness
When I feel drowsy
And my eyes get closed,
Like the breeze in Spring
You touch
My scorched mind
To make me lively.

In the garden
Of my passion
You play every time
With my thought
Like an innocent baby
To expand
The petals of love
In my restless mind.
