Mother~by rldubour

The angels from heaven came to earth that day,
They smiled upon her, then took her away.
Now she looks down at the ones left behind,
With only beautiful memories that race through her mind.
Her borrowed body lies silent and still,
The roar of the silence a defining chill.
To be gone from us all with one last breathe.
She is on to her next life, she passed life’s test.
The test of her time spent here on earth,
From beginning to end, from death to her birth.
As the angels surround her high up above,
God will protect and give her His love.
So Dear Mother, I speak for us all,
We will see you again on the Day the Lords calls. Amen…

  1. Great poem Ron, especially for today when it’s our mother’s birthday. Thanks for writing this poem. Brother Dan
