Taking Risks~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Taking Risks

I know you have told me never to fly
When I fall, it will be from way up high
How shall I see the beauty of the sky
If I won’t take risk and give it a try

You told me never dive deep in the sea
For if I drown, no one will even see
How shall I know whether tears are salty
If I remain on the shores of safety

You told me never to ring freedom’s bell
When I become deaf, sounds no one will tell
How shall I prove that it’s a fragile shell
If I leave it hidden in silent cell

I know you mean well, concern is not fake
When you gave warning, it is for my sake
How shall I learn, be alive, and awake
If I will be yellow and risks not take

I did install some safety precaution
Never relied on just intuition
Please don’t tell me about moderation
A full gear speed is my motivation
