Unconditional Love~by Norman Wilson

Unconditional Love

A storm has settled in his heart
The thorns have kissed his fingertips
The swamp claims the murk on his soul
From muck that leaches upon his lips

He bathes in the Dead Sea by night
Where the wind wages battles in his head
As the waters part before his eyes
While another sea bleeds pigment red

He calls forth for his Lord and Master
To bless and break the loaf of bread
Then give a sermon upon the waters
In his white garbs of tattered threads

His brothers shared in the last supper
Drinking from the cup of the Lord’s blood
As He the Lord spoke of mans betrayal
Then blessed all with His unconditionall love
