The Sacred River~by Jenayah Hela Tekali

The Sacred River

Bath me with your Holy Water from my unwashed sins,
drinking from the flowing river of my dreams
Oh! Allah is my sacred river still pure?
How much pain and suffering shall I have for my banned sin to endure?
For driving men under the Beauty of my nectar bewitched, insane , irresistible to its lure..

I walk through your soft earth, your silky grass,
wishing that my unwashed flesh makes no further fuss
In Sight of You , I shall my obedience hold
Keeping to the letter your Divine message ,as I was told
My self and all the Angelic ‘ host that beside me stand
serving your providence, spreading the nectar of love to the last minute, to the very end..

How far I wish that my sacrifice on earth would not be usurped by Lucifer, my Cruel fiend?
How far I wish that the whole humanity would shield me, and be my sacred friend?
