Beauty by the Sea~by Norman Wilson

Beauty by the Sea

What beauty shows upon pale sun
A beauty that holds against the rose
A reflection within the waning light
In the exquisiteness of eternal glow

Black velvet coverings touch the skies
Upon the breach of the coming moon
Laying within wait of a starburst night
Against lost horizons of tiding bloom

The seas blacken from the azure blue
Where salt winds crust upon thy face
As birds sing below the seagulls cries
Upon silken sands of the seas embrace

Torched once more by the sun’s frown
On the awakening of beauties dawning
Where roses flourish within sky shining
As clouds cover beauty in white awning
