When Love Does Hurt

To love someone is not enough if they won’t love you back.
The solitude of loneliness like an abandoned railroad track.
Where the mighty engines once heard loud and clear.
That’s when your heart is broken and love has disappeared.
Just waiting to come out again and once more feel alive.
I just don’t know the answer and I try for all it’s worth.
All I know is loneliness and that’s when love does hurt.
Where once you knew the happiness, you were that shining star.
Can we find where love is gone? Or has it gone too far?
Will we find the answer as we continue with our search?
Will we find a love to share while we live this life on earth?
They say there is a reason and nothing left to chance.
I wonder if it’s possible to once more make love dance?
Like a song without the music it’s just not right it seams.
Just let me hear you love me and fulfill my every dream.
