This or That Way
Many times I’ve traveled life’s adventure
Wasted some choices and used them in vain
Ignored the sunshine, murmured to the rain
I regret I live in my old nature
.
I know there are many roads not taken
Somewhere in the mists of drifting hours
When golden minutes became dead flowers
Losing its scent, fading, and forgotten
.
Bright worlds unexplored, I let go of chance
Now I count the lost opportunities
Doors are wide open and I asked for keys
Treasures from yonder, I didn’t give a glance
.
O here I am again with paths to choose
This way or that way, how much can I lose?
.
