WHEN MY MIND CRIES FOR NO REASON~by Dipankar Sadhukhan

WHEN MY MIND CRIES FOR NO REASON

When my mind cries for no reason
And I am absorbed in nothingness,
I seem to myself just a massless mass;
I feel confused about my entity;
I wake to come out of the mystery of life;
I stand before a mirror to find my existence.

When I get tired to think of a few absurd ideas,
My thought seems to me a meaningless meaning;
I feel myself a half broken standing statue;
My senses get paralysed to respond to me;
I try and try to say to myself silently,
“Rise and work to prove yourself a true man.”

When my dear ones turn their faces one by one,
I try to find my fault and offence repeatedly;
Human mind seems to me a fathomless ocean;
The full moon night looks a burial ground;
I do remind myself again and again,
“Let them do their work; work always as you love.”
