In the palm~by Nutan Sarawagi

In the palm

In the palm of your hand as I see my name
in my life unfolding in my name
as I see your name writ in it
you were my destiny written in it
as I try to touch you in my palm
to hold it before you are gone
in you I pain touching you , to hold it
never letting it go away from you
the lines cry out to me
they say we were not written for you , not for this day
you were our fate written by us , now I leave you no longer us
wipe you , you are a just a tear in our eye, in you gliding by
you were my destiny which awaited me
now you no longer hold me in my palm just leaving me
a mirage of your eye now here , no longer there
a cloud just passing me by
in you as I lie never mine in you I just cry !
