TEARS~by Saroj Padhi

Tears that tear apart the poor heart
Obstinate, disobedient like a naughty migraine,
Linger in the corners of lonesome eyes
In simmers of unknown, insistent pain ;

Liquid relics from a sentimental past
That drench the old ruins of stories of mythical love,
Loiter in the corridors of a broken heart
In quest of an echo somewhere near, away or above ;

Fall like faded petals with tremors of many fears :
The fear of losing you to the filthily rich other,
The fear of getting dried up at the root of its spring
At the dead end of flow, without an echo in the air ;

My nameless dear drops of tears that chase me everywhere
How would I describe you being to my broken heart so dear !
