An Ode to the mother..~by Akshaya Kumar Das

An Ode to the mother..

twenty years gone,
mom since you left for heaven,
glimpses of your face ,
appear before our place ,
as the memories unfold,
love is in behold,
we beseech your comeback,
time only shows flash back,
in our silences your shadow is alive,
every now & then we have to believe,
faith is great saying,
accustomed to the sad loss keep praying,
in between the shadows we are caught,
tears jerk up in the eyes corner,
brother to sister we all cry for you with the father,
our cries fall into deaf ears,
the well of our tears ,
drying up with fears,
once the physical body is lost,
next to impossible to get your trust,
your pure love and affection,
etched in our memory station,
silently eschew the loss in total abnegation…
