Passions Kiss~by Norman Wilson

Passions Kiss

From Passions kiss he wept
He wept from upon his knees
As sorrow stole his tears away
In the rolling hills of Glengarry
The rose stood tall barbed in thorns
With leaves of shining green
Coloured red the sign of love
As his tears dripped upon his sleeve
The petals set in scarlet-red
Laid across the mason’s stone
For a single rose he left behind
The king that gave up his throne
His love was like the blowing wind
It could be felt but never held
In the highland hills of passions kiss
Where his love forever dwelled
