On the Moors~by Norman Wilson

On the Moors

She strolls in the dark
In the dark she goes
Before the sunlight
Before the black crow
Her tools of her trade
Is but one simple glance
As mans’ minds unhinge
Under her hypnotic trance
She walks the moors
The moors on the darker side
Before the seashore
To the booming tides
As she mars herself in death
To the lonely man
To the allure of her beauty
To her alluring plan
Then she wails thru the night
Before the dawning crow
When she disappears
Into the dark tides below
