Secrets on the Wind~by Norman Wilson

Secrets on the Wind

My secrets floated away on the winds of time
They have blown out upon the salted sea breeze
Gathering in sprinkles patched in jackets of tides
To a secluded island with lush green palm trees

Her words sailed on the winds of a bursting blow
Blowing on a pink love letter drifting in the rain
Amid a binding gust of secrets that held our love
Soaking in the mist where only seagulls came

From the sprigs to the cries of the storm’s roar
My sole love became lost on that final fatal day
Fastening our secrets upon the winds of time
As I let the love letter, she hand wrote float away

Time keeps deaths secrets to itself on the winds
To the throes through the fog above a blue sea
In destinations path that only the wind does know
For written secrets of our love that will never be
