NEIGHBOURS~by Petri Karvinen

NEIGHBOURS

He had to go back one more time
To purge away the signs of crime
In his craft an uncleaned stain
Often meant the last mistake

He was sure his plan was cunning
Just be quick and then start running
Inspired by some fictive stories
He looked down on all the warnings

She got greedy suddenly
Could not settle peacefully
Like a cat in empty house
Tempted for one more mouse

Neighbours always have it better
So she was urged to send a letter
But instead of a fragrant flower
She attached some poison powder

He and she, what a couple
Even less would equal trouble
Now they cannot send more mail
Cause that´s the rule in county jail
