Sun and Moon
You are the sun to my beloved moon
Your rays warm me like worm in cocoon
As I morph into a butterfly soon
You are the sun that my bright moon reflects
To your mighty power my moon subjects
Temptations of earth’s gravity rejects
You are the sun that my meek moon follows
Your heat flares up with summer wind’s bellows
In your path my moody temper mellows
I am your moon just as you are my sun
Into your fiery passions I shall run
Let our eclipse be more than just fun
Open your arms for my numbed heart to burn
Await for me do not leave me behind
Do not let our shadows make you turn
To my desperate phases please be kind.
