THE RAIN
The rain drifts the river for a song lost in summer
Carrying dirt it clogged its way calling you as lover
The silvery sparkling eyes in passion of a down pour
Here and there, not far, strolls about your door.
She plays the music in the harp of the thunder
Shine so bright in lightening the sun and moon fear,
Jangled in an uniform crystal hardly found in color
Lashing and splashing sprays music in sweet murmur.
We fill our empty heads of summer’s long hour
Running on roads, hills and ravines never as an idler
A season that builds up our earth for food for future
All are happy in its bliss the rain is god’s great favor.
I wonder if we can be like rain fostering Nature
Turning earth green in wisdom eternal and pure,
Longed for goodness like rain in hard days of summer
The thirsty lips know the value of a drop of water.
