The Wanderer
There is a love that dares to wander
Wander where only true heart can go
It wanders in words of sweet romance
For what minds and souls truly show
I see the love and bliss in woods of green
I see the beauty where blossoms spring
As I smell the scent on a breath of breeze
Where hearts flutter with butterfly wings
I am the rainmaker that brings on clouds
Washing away a showering of loves prey
For hearts that bleed in thunder and rain
For the wandering of my love that strays
I cannot help what dares to wander forth
Under a bright sun that turns to falling rain
For I am the maker that conjures up a storm
That buries mislaid hearts in haunting pain
Very poignant. Love the last stanza in particular.
