Speak of Love~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Speak of Love

You speak of love divine
With taste of sweet grape wine
Freshly picked from vine
Spirits and sweetness entwine
No sounds of tears and whine

You speak of love sublime
Existing before time
Lost by Man’s lust and crime
Yet saved before one’s prime
Grace and Mercy in rhyme

You speak of love in kind
One that can blow up mind
Pains, fears and tears behind
Everyday to one remind
Life, heart and hands to chain bind

You speak of love so free
Fly high no anchors be
No laws to bend one’s knee
Yet no nest one can see
No shelter in hill’s lee

Speak to which one must sworn
Soul of a dainty fawn
Heels from long travel torn
Waits for the coming dawn
Innocence of day born
