Where Leaves Fall~by Norman Wilson

Where Leaves Fall

Weather changes in loves endings
As floating leaves cuddle the ground
Where hearts once glowed in flames
While snow blows to winter’s sounds

Unlikely is the sum of a winter’s grind
Dusting loves steps in a powered white
Wiping away snow-castles on the earth
Harbouring hearts huddled in the night

A storm’s gale now entrenches hearts
As promises of love curls to the winds
To the bedded leaves of passions kiss
Where snow falls upon love final sins

Hearts no longer aglow in loves storms
In breaking trust in a monsoon of snow
Crusting vestiges of ice-covered veins
As leaves fall where love no longer goes
