Unkept Promises~by Hela Tekali

Unkept Promises

I am on the verge of tears
In heart, I still hold those unkept promises
Frail Hopes, of false emotions shared
Of a stoneheart leaving behind so unforgotten a memory.

On my lips your sunlight kiss,
Where my shivering senses still sound like a snake’s hiss
Soak in long ecstasy trance
Eyes meshed with forsaken magical dance.

On waves of memories
I have turned the page
To stony like stories,
Blessing my heart with
gifts to be sage.

Into the Well of love- I will not dare to dive
Wavering aside the overflow of emotions, to keep myself alive
The song of Nightingale I still hear
In my dream, in my fantasy, in my illusion, in my ears… and so romantically near.

Unkept promises of love!
I face them like a stormy weather
False dreams of passion
In heart, my so much honour I will treasure.
