Mysteries of the memory lane…~by Akshaya Kumar Das

Mysteries of the memory lane…

……………………………………………
down memory lane,
mind visits like an insane,
the tiny thatched shedded roof,
memories of the moments proof,
etched in the memorys’ parlour,
the parlour recounts the valore,
the many evenings of our meeting,
the hands that caressed the painting,
moving around the lockes,
the long hair often falling over my face,
under the hairs duress the lips in bliss,
breathing love packed sighs with hiss,
on the canvass of the soul we rolled,
rocked in momentary moods of boiled,
boiling the bare truths of inventing tapestries,
the tapestries of the painted canvass ,
painting tattooes of love on my nude canvass,
the brush touched every point with a hiss,
painting the doves beaking lovelorn sagas,
love never ended remained unrequited for ever,
the more of the invasions the more inquisitive amber,
unravelling the inventing mind of never before done,
in engrossed silences we surrendered to hone,
carving a niche in the fountain of your soul,
sailed too deep into the fathom of the gaol,
the down memory lane memories of the Taj Mahal,
stands in monumental silence of the dome of marble,
relics of the love stories written on the times’ wall,
