Beneath the Sun and Moon~by Norman Wilson

Beneath the Sun and Moon

Do not stand too close to the sun
For it will shine then melt in your glow
From the beauty that your heart has given
Allowing the entire world to know

Do not stand too close to the fires of hell
Where the devil, brews his casting spells
Causing the moon to slip slowly away
Hiding your glow before the heavens fell

Stay awhile and share with me your smile
Glowing by the ocean near the hillside
Therefore, the moon will stay and the sun will shine
Behind your beauty before the ocean tide

I shall transition the sun and the moon
Altering them to revolve before your sight
To glow and shine within night and day
In procuring your everlasting glowing light

I propose to you the one I truly adore
To stay with me forevermore
Where the sun and the moonbeams show
My unending love for you, by the ocean shore
