In our Field of Sun~by Karen King

In our Field of Sun

I’ve told you I love you,
yet you are unsure.
I stand silently, waiting,
in the field of sun.

You say you are waiting for me,
yet you are married.
I stand silently, waiting,
in the field of sun.

You love my poetry,
my number one fan.
I stand silently, waiting,
in the field of sun.

You follow my poetry
and are with me mentally.
I stand silently, waiting,
in the field of sun.

You are with me now,
we breath in the wild flowers.
We stand silently, serene,
in the field of sun.

We hold each other
and your lips meet mine.
We caress lovingly, longingly,
in the field of sun.

We tease and touch each other,
in our resplendent realms.
We become one at last,
in our field of sun.
