BEAUTY~by Indira Sadanandan

BEAUTY

Hidden in my dreams
Are a thousand ships
To launch in the ocean of lost hopes
To start a new Trojan war of
Memory with vision.
Who is to lose ?
I don’t know.
Is it vision ?or memory ?
The ocean is vast and of depth
Unfathomable,
The ships are strong and
The warriors brave and sturdy,
The ocean is boisterous
The masts are so wide and
Capable to catch the wind
The atmosphere with thick humidity
Even in the mid night
No star to shine the sky
But behind all
A face with brilliant beauty
Un parallel
to cause the war.
