Winters Hearth~by Norman Wilson

Winters Hearth

I see a house with glow of warmth
Glowing on the edge of loves breath
Where hearts reach-out with fingertips
By hearth’s flames in dancing silhouettes

Candlesticks with burning wicks
Sit upon branches of evergreens
Stockings hung while carols sung
Around the family winters tree

Angel snow, freshly falling on fields
Surrounding love’s breath on the air
As snowflakes white, refresh the night
While candles burn with special care

Can there be more of what I see
Within and outside the house blessed with love
A love that grows with the new fall of snow
From a winters hearth of love above
