DISAPPOINMENT..~by Philibus K Elisha Elisha

DISAPPOINTMENT..

Soberly I sauntered into the spacious sitting
room
Big sister stared
She snared
And snubbed strangely at
me.

My mama mienly mused
And bemusement was her
mournfully muffled face.

My little sister
And brother
Hissed surreptitiously in
unison
All in their sniffy ways to
snipe at me scornfully
In spite of their spites
My sorrow somnolently steers
in me sombrely.

What sin of mine I wonder
As I ponder
I still wonder sometimes I scowl
Back!
But it is always in defence
Than be thought a slacker.

I have sojourned and soared in
solace
Nothing forth has shown
Than the dispersion of this
desperate disappointment.
