Midnight Slumber~by Hela Tekali

Midnight Slumber

It was a dream, I saw myself dancing at Midnight
Then my illusion came to make me touch the starlight
As a slumber I often confuse between darkness and light
I am a sleepless walker stepping at the threshold of the twilight

Life and death have always dazzled me
Sleeping in the cradle where Mom sings her usual lullaby
That senseless cycle of life bothers me
It always overwhelms me with a hunch of insanity.

Dream plays a role of an expert monster
Illusion, its soulmate bewitches my soul as a sorcerer
Taking my hand to dance at midnight by the door of the Beholder
Hey! dream take it easy, I am just daydreaming as a confused slumber.

Night and day have lost their existence
Time itself has fallen into an overbalance
Illusion and dream have no omnipotence
Midnight can no longer exerts its masquerading
Extravagance.
