Deer Dog
The deer are full of Christmas cheer
As they wait for the big day to come near.
As they offer you cyclamens in love,
Please think of your blessings sent from above.
Think of what you can give as well as receive,
Not just of yourself and what you can achieve.
Think of others and ones less fortunate than you,
While you celebrate, they are on the streets, turning blue.
Think and send love to these people every day,
For these poor, unfortunate souls who have nowhere to stay.
STOP! For a while and think what Christmas is all about,
It is not just about presents that you can shout about.
Enjoy your riches of family and friends,
Broken relationships – this is the time to mend.
Spend time, give love to all of humanity
And a loving world will become reality.

cyclamen:is a genus of 23 species of perennial flowering plants in the family Primulaceae. Cyclamen species are native to Europe and the Mediterranean Basin east to Iran, with one species in Somalia. They grow from tubers and are valued for their flowers with upswept petals and variably patterned leaves.
