All the time
men chase women
not for only admiration

they want to find
what is hidden
beneath the silken coverage
O what a shine….
a diamond concealed
in a flourishing gold mine
sublime

will it make his love entwine
and
then the two will shine
like a necklace
embedded with an emerald
in the annals of time
superfine
leaving human memory behind
the progeny we leave behind
is only yours coupled with mine
