TWO TALKING LILIES

 
While having a walk
Around the rose garden
Two pink lilies wished to talk
Their hello fascinated my run!

So sweet it appears
Hello uncle! Hello uncle!
Turned back to see near
Were just as two stars twinkle!

My face felt a glow
Smiles shared, waved hands
Heart holding beat slow
It was innocence but so grand!

If their hello was bad
I kept searching the garden a lot
The buds appearing so sad
I held such a hasty thought!

Be it feeling of insecurity
Be the care-taker’s suspicion
Or may be her over affinity
Guarding the lilies with precision

Lost in their innocence
Wished to spray my affection
Hug their soothing fragrance
Why one suffers love connection!
