Ridiculous Imagination~by Payal Sunandan

Ridiculous Imagination

Prove true o imagination,
young boldness of sculpted silence,
lucrece knife and smoke from mouth,
exhaled winters held in breath,
soft hay yellower as sparks of passion,
drowned in attachments,
remembrances of tainted romances,
innocence of golden cheeks
bear vestige blush,
the strokes of artistic and selfish hopes.

Withered violets,
neither dead nor alive,
sacrifices into the grace of times,
low bow and slender waist,
belooks terrible fate
white films of faith
flirting with the winds,
gasps of delicious slumber
redeemed in moisture
filled in the eyes of youth.
