In The Beginning~by Gina Ancheta Agsaulio

In The Beginning

In the beginning
God made the earth
The mountains and the seas
The trees and the animals
He was unsatisfied and sad
Until He created us, you and me.

In the beginning
Have crossed our way
Then we fall to each other
Created our dreams
Seen the sun of the future
The stars and the moon.
Our hearts filled with joy
Laughter´s and happiness
Lots of life´s song, fun and jokes.

But now, I see the gray clouds
And the raindrops from the sky
Gone are those days
Seems the flame of love will die
That I will lose you in my life and from my sight
Will you simply be extinguished
From the falling teardrops of my eyes?

Where is the sun that I have glanced
From the beginning that I have loved
Are those only memories of my life?
Where is the sun, the reason to live
Shall Rose forever love you,
Or stop for loving you?

  1. I love your poem. It’s written in a way that make some people think, n’ that’s why i love it, because i can see the “inner meanings” of some of the terms.

  2. I bet you didn’t think there any “hidden meanings”, did you?
