One-eyed Traveller~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

One-eyed Traveller

Security one has certainly found
Stand with two feet on flat ground
One climbs a mountain for a round
Gravity felt more on higher ground

Time to dive into the deep sea
Wallow in a filthy gutter to see
Bruised lungs and festering knee
Pains and beauty one all to see

Surely a giant guide to help unravel
Showing you the right way to travel
Life is a diversity one does marvel
Many are the paths one can travel

People in solid ground see one as fool
Not one clearly saw beneath the wool
Understood the sights one seen cool
One said to have just gathered wool

Not true that a one-eyed man is a king
In a blind country sight means nothing
A man who sees only amusement bring
For blind people, colors and scenes are nothing

Would you rather be a seeing fool
Or blind noble with pride as tool?
Would you stay on safe flat ground
Or leave comfort zone, wisdom found?
