Autumn Leaves~by Hela Tekali

Autumn Leaves

I can still hear the sound of leaves
When slightly imbibed with water
A teary -fall on the edge to leave
When harvests are being gathered is all that matter

Every leaf bespeaks a bliss to me
Fleeing lightly from bough to bough
Newly blossoming trees set my soul free
I shall sing whenever my eyes come across the snowplough

Season has grown for every poet worthy of being read
When smoothly changing from brown to ochre, words of praise are being said
Leaves are altering and so the weather
It is high time to put away the dead feather

When the Leaves fall, the wind blows
Emotions soar, love grows
Come each day to call for us
You fall! Whose leaves slightly make a fuss.
