Love is Blind
To wane in thought
To see through dwindling black
In a moment of time
For a glimpse to look back
Vanishing eyes now in decline
Fading with age
In forgotten passage of mind
Never to see nevermore to find
My heart for her
Burned in mindless swirl
For a face beyond
Now elapsed for an old faceless girl
We shared a minute
Microscopic in our lives
Yet I still cannot rermember
What were our ties
We raced together
In chase of the elusive butterfly
That bound us in a tarn of ice
Between and beyond my dying eyes
I no longer see her
The way I used to do
As I lay in waste of my eyes and mind
For I have become rhetorically blind
