Earthly Pain~by Norman Wilson

Earthly Pain

Inside I feel the crush
Every time I hear her name
So deeply, crushed was my soul
In the most deepest of earthly pain

She loved to play the piano
Where each key struck a magical chord
With moving tunes, that she wrote herself
On her electrical keyboard

Her notes wrung out to heaven
With the sweetest sounds that played out
With dazzling slender long fingers
Causing heaven to stop and turn about

Bright spirits and beautiful dreams
Quell the loneliness of my nights
For she rises from the dead
To play one more time for my delight

I now feel great comfort in my days
For the hurting has now gone away
Released by heaven’s love for her to be
In my nightly dreams for me to hear and see
