Things you learn as you mature
Have you ever stopped to think about what you learn
as you mature?
Not talking about every thing, only
human nature.
Now that I’m retired and my
mind is gone.
I’ve learned some things I’ll share in this, promise
won’t be long,
I’ve learned that age is a high price to
pay for maturity.
That we are accountable for what we do,
unless we are celebrities!
I’ve learned when something is not working, one of
the kids most likely did it.
I’ve learned to ignore the phone, door and call to dinner
all in just one minute!
I’ve learned a way to make the beds, I will never be
asked again!
And when the kids move out, they are home
now more than then.
I’ve learned that whatever hit’s the fan will not be
evenly distributed.
And distributed? You mean evenly? Not here that
word is prohibited.
I’ve learned that artificial intelligence is no match for
natural stupidity
And that there is a fine line between
genius and insanity
I don’t suffer from insanity, I really
do enjoy it.
By the way one good turn, will get me
all the blankets!
