Wind and River~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Wind and River

Why is it easier to love than to be vulnerable
Why is it easier to cook than sit on a table
To give to share, one is capable
Yet to connect a tie be so incapable

The wind runs truant from school
Breeze free for heated all to cool
Yet scared to cuddle under a wool
Scared of loving warmth like a fool

The Amazon river endlessly flow
Courageous of land be high or low
Yet on turning fork swiftness slow
Scared of the fall’s whistle blow

Alice Wonderland’s scaredy rabbit
Running , vanishing becomes a habit
Another Nurturer’s hand rabbit bit
From real world, frightened to be hit

Wind and river willing all to give
Strong currents they did outlive
Of past, themselves they can’t forgive
Other’s loving gifts unable to believe
