Dorothy~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Dorothy

I clicked my red shoes and got caught in a whirlwind
Twist and turn my feet left the ground
Floating helplessly I got frightened
In the turmoil I lost control of all

I searched yet blinded by the strong wind
Twist and turn felt not the solid ground
Floating about I wondered how it will end
Worried I would break when I fall

I clicked my red shoes to leave the whirlwind
Twist and turn yet reached not the ground
Floating helplessly the wizard I offend
In panic I rebuilt my crumbling wall

I clicked my red shoes wrapped in the wind
Twist and turn no help have I found
Floating helplessly a distress sign I send
In the silent void I screamed my call

I clicked my red shoes and got out of the whirlwind
Twist and turn still chased by a hound
Floating helplessly a puppet to bend
Strings cut and started to fall

I clicked my red shoes and got caught in a whirlwind
Twist and turn my feet left the ground
Floating helplessly I got frightened
In the turmoil I lost control of all
