Shrouded Soul~by Hela Tekali

Shrouded Soul

Vibrating notes of piano
Come to calm my soul
The silence of the night
Dances with my every beat
Why does the heart feel lonely
Plagued in its shrapnel shredded melancholy
Where everything looks so sweet
Like a petal of a flower that grows
When love with summer meet
Let my shrouded soul feel
The uniqueness of the music
Of the universe while falling
Under the spell of the very moment
And its heat.
I can no longer hear the music
Strumming for a while,
Were the fingers of the composer
Reluctant to ease my pain
With their vibrating rhyme.
