My Friend The Butterfly~by Hela Tekali

My Friend The Butterfly

Cry for me my friend the butterfly!
For I am the bee, and I am the fly
I am the flower that people try to deny
My nectar is meant to heal their harm
Dewdrops of scent falling like lovely balm
I am the bee, and I am the fly
Why should I always cry
They always pick me to smell my beauty
They never water me to strengthen my frailty
Cry for me my friend the butterfly!
For I am the bee, and I am the fly
I am flying with my broken wings above the Mountains
I try with my frail Muse to be an inspiring Fountain
But should my broken wings defy the bad weather
Without in the meantime bleed along with its splintered feather
The spirit of my Muse will help me to b loom like a rose
I beg the Creator of the Universe not to let again my lively petals close
Cry for me my friend the butterfly!
For I am the bee, and I am the fly
I am the flower that people try to deny
They are always looking for my pretty scent
Never inspired by what the Winged Muse from heaven meant.
