TIME IS A STRANGER…..
The lake is unruffled by ripples of waves
The boat is still, the sailors frozen,
Birds no more burst forth with songs
Empty of their sweetness and gentle rhythm.
The budding roses dwindle for fragrance
Vainly the breeze curves on their lips,
The thick eyes of night blinded for light
The seasons around it come and depart.
Sensing the lake desolated, no more charming
Ravaged by anger and bitterly grieved
The travelers stumble over words they speak
They start competitions to regain their voice.
The time is a stranger dividing them into parts
Distrust to hear they are falling apart
The sun is sick and gray over the frozen lake
The song is frosted in trembling tears.
They keep waiting for softer emotion to born
But fall like a flake of snow when broken
The cub-web catches flies but not the dew drops
Lies appear as real truth remains in silence.
One day the sun came sparkling to melt snow
Spring kissed their souls asking for songs
Flowers, birds and the lake talked to them
They walked alone singing asking none.
