Come Dear Sister~by Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa

Come Dear Sister

Why do you mourn, dear sister?
See the world as it turns around
Hear the birds in trees gather
Morning greets with its sound

Life will not end with our grief
Of our souls, we must take grip
Wounded, we continue the trip
End our cries with a silent sniff

Yes, we do feel our hearts rend
But Life continues without end
Dawn, a new hope to us will send
We had all night for wounds to tend

To me, dear sister, come
Let us both stand up, face the day
With new strength, welcome the sun
Pack up and let’s move on our way!
